September 11 memorial Between the moments of silence and the ring bells, a sea of tears and amid tender words, Americans were in sorrow to remember the attack which rocked their country. Thousands attended the event in the, in New York City, Pennsylvania and Washington in honor of 2977 family members, friends and coworkers who died in September 11, 2011. They read the names, sang songs and stood quite mourning and communing in grief with a country that changed forever. The attacks changed the world, later the U.S attacked Afghanistan, and it began jailing hundreds of other citizens from other countries. All around the globe, air travel security, was changed to curb terrorism, world leaders and many other citizens paused to reflect the events to commemorate the victims of the al-Qaeda. At around 8:46 am E.T there was a moment of silence for 17 minutes, they are the exact time when the air lines flight 11 and airlines 175 were hijacked by nine men conspired in al-Qaeda plot which slammed twin towers. Retired police department of New York still remembers his wife and his fellow officers, the only female who died at the twin towers. She was on duty several kilometers away, when she heard a jet slammed into the world business center before she went to assist the south tower collapsed, and she killed. It is a reminder that menace still remains 10 years after thousands of people were killed, and four months after their leader were killed by the US special force. The CIA believed that this building was specially built, in 2005, to hide bin laden. Mr. Obama hold various security meeting before the final plans were put in place. The Pakistani government was not involved as they had previously denied claims that Osama was on their land. Obama’s administration officials said that one of the helicopters had a crush land, but nobody got injured in that event. It was 3.50 Eastern Time when the president received news that bin laden had been identified after a series of DNA tests. From there, his body was flown to Afghanistan after which all the US officials had wadded that his body got buried in the sea. Earth quakes in Haiti Haiti being one of the impoverished countries in the world, in the recent years, it has struggled with various problems ranging from political upheaval annual barrage of hurricane, health and the worst being earthquakes in the region in over 200 years. Over 634,000 lives were displaced according to the international organization for migration, the international donated 5.3 billion dollars in March 2010, reconstruction involving better housing and roads barely begun, six months after the earth quake disease and violence had been averted. Not more than a year after the earth quake, there was impatience with the limping recovery and warning in the international sympathy for Haiti’s troubles as the neighboring countries begun deporting the refugees. International donors and Haiti were far behind helping hundreds of thousand still living without jobs and makeshift camps. In 2011 march, two conservative rival faced by runoff in election for the presidential post. In April, it was announced Michel Martelly won the election. Com that she had been partying heavily on Thursday and Friday nights, Houston was a soul and gospel music singer just like her mother, she began her singing in a church, in New Jersey, and at night in the local clubs of New York. She also participated in modeling and was an actor famous for her movie the body guard. Her career was remarkably successful, selling 170m records worldwide, wining six Grammy awards, 30 billboard awards and 22 American music awards. “Like all the people who knew and love Whitney, her death came as a great shock with so much sadness,” said Steve Elzer for the studio. “The world has lost an incomparable talent.” In the previous years, her life got taken over by excessive drug use which badly damaged her life.
