Extract of sample "How to Avoid Plagiarism"

Academic writing is a skill that needs to be cultured and developed to ensure that one correctly captures essential information when undertaking tasks in academic writing. One such skill is avoiding citing common knowledge as it is not necessarily the property of a particular writer. There are other ways through which one can ensure that they do not fall into the plagiarism trap. These include quoting, summarizing, paraphrasing and note-taking of the writer’s thoughts and ideas with a view to passing across the message that the writer intended through their work.

(OLoughlin) In conclusion, whenever one wishes to include someone else’s work on their own, you should always ensure that you strictly abide by the rules that govern academic writing as far as plagiarism is concerned. This will ensure that you as a writer get fully accredited for the novel work that you have done. (OLoughlin) Bibliography OLoughlin, J. (n.d.). How to avoid Plagiarism.
