The Art Underground's Fall Kids Musical Theater Production is...

HOW TO SECURE AN AUDITION SLOT:
Audition requests will be taken starting August 8th, Monday. Requests will be scheduled based on time stamp on emails. To be fair to all, requests sent earlier than August 8th cannot be honored. We appreciate your understanding.

Please indicate if you prefer Friday or Saturday for their audition.
AUDITION DETAILS:
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to audition time in case appointments are running early, and plan to stay15 to 20 minutes after the audition to complete paper work and be measured for costumes, and in case appointments are running late.
Come prepared to sing a short song or part of a song to an instrumental-only CD if possible (no lyrics singing on the CD). Please do not bring sheet music as no accompanist will be provided. Some children may be asked to read lines or act given a bit of direction. The directors will make the children as comfortable as possible during the audition.
Note: specific audition time requests are not guaranteed - with typically over 100 audition requests, we appreciate your flexibility and understanding that we'll do the best we can but you may end up with audition times different from your request.

This show will feature up to 3 casts of children aged 2nd to 6th grade, each cast rehearsing twice a week, 90 minutes per rehearsal. Specialty dance and ensemble rehearsals will also take place, as well as technical week held the week prior to the show. Tech week involved extra run throughs and pre-dress rehearsals, and dress rehearsals, so an exciting time!

Join veteran musical theatre director, producer, singer, actor Melissa Williams for this fun-filled, smaller production created specifically for lower elementary actors to shine! Once a week rehearsals culminate in a costumed production on a Saturday. Get the full production experience of song, dance, lines, dress rehearsals, show, and cast party in an age appropriate environment. Spaces are limited so register for this production class today. |
